Best Value Bean to Cup Coffee Machines

If you're looking to enjoy a one-press, hands-off latte that's fully customisable, this is the machine for you. For more information, check out our Beem Espresso Grinder Profession review.

Its bean hoppers that can be swapped allow you to experiment with different blends at the drop of a hat and its different profiles mean you can continue where you left off. It's also less expensive than capsule machines and uses real beans instead of pre-ground beans.

1. Smeg BCC02

This sleek, compact, and striking machine, designed by Milan-based company Deep Design combines the brand's retro aesthetic with cutting-edge technology. It is able to handle every step of the coffee-making process, from grinding beans and shaping the beans into a puck to texturing milk and dispensing the correct amount of coffee - meaning you can create barista-quality hot drinks at the touch of the button.

The machine also sports a stylish brushed aluminium front and comes in red, black or taupe, meaning it's easy to integrate into the majority of kitchen designs. There are some flaws however: the majority of users found it to be a bit expensive for a bean to cup maker (and it doesn't come with a milk pitcher).

There were numerous glowing reviews about the machine's user-friendliness and the quality of its coffee. The digital display provides feedback and step-by-step instructions throughout the entire process of brewing that will help you make your drink perfect every time. The machine even allows you to alter the grind size, if that's not what you want. It's like having a personal barista in your own home (minus Harry Potter's invisibility cloak and Elon Musk's rocket-building expertise).

If you prefer milky drinks this model has an adjustable steam wand upwards and downwards to fit the majority of drinking vessels that aren't equipped with the Viking's drinking horn. We were also amazed by the speed and efficiency at how the frothing was accomplished. It creates an excellent, full-flavoured, delicious espresso with a wonderful crema.

The BCC02 is a great all-rounder. It's quiet and efficient, and provides excellent value for money with its current price of PS499. The only issue is the fact that it doesn't provide the same level of customization like some of the other bean to cups we've tested. It's got a 15-bar pump rather than the more usual 19 bars which isn't as effective for making high-quality espressos. This is a fantastic machine for those who like their coffee strong and dark. 2. Melitta Barista TS Smart

The Barista TS Smart is a fantastic bean-to-cup machine that has numerous features that make it stand apart from the rest. Its most distinctive feature is probably the fact that it can be controlled by your smartphone through the Melitta Connect app. This lets you alter the settings and then dispense different coffee recipes that are stored in the machine.

This makes the machine flexible and adaptable to your preferences. There are a variety of ways to alter the strength of your drink, cup sizes and even if you would like milk to be added. The machine comes with two airtight containers that are automatically sorted for different types of coffee. The machine is set to use standard espresso beans and cafe creme, which is a German variant of flat white or long black. However, you are able to select any beans you'd like. There's also a handy chute for coffee that has been ground if you want to use your own (for example in the event that your dinner guest brings their own).

Users have also said they are impressed by the speed of the machine. It is more efficient than other machine they've used. Another advantage is that it will alert you when one of its hoppers is nearly empty, so that you do not get caught running out of your favorite beverage.

The price could be a worry for some. The machine isn't inexpensive, with prices that are close to PS999. However,  coffee to bean machine Coffeee UK  is far cheaper than comparable Jura machines that have the same number of features.

The Barista TS Smart is backed by an extensive warranty that provides two years of coverage. This is longer than the average one year guarantee, so it is a sign of confidence from the manufacturer. It also comes with a cleaning tablet and a descaler, making it simple to stay up to date with the machine's needs for maintenance. This is a great machine for those looking to buy a high-quality, multi-functional bean to cup machine at a low cost.

3. Jura GIGA 6

The Jura GIGA 6 is an amazing espresso machine that utilizes the power of artificial intelligence to make the finest specialty coffees. It learns your preferences and rearranges the coffee menus to allow you to select your preferred drinks. It also allows you to select the size of your preferred grind as well as the temperature of your water, milk and coffee foam volume. Its clever cleaning and rinsing programs start with the click of an icon, making day-to-day coffee machine maintenance easier than ever.

The Giga 6 has two milk and two coffee spouts. This means it can produce two coffee specialties at once. The dual fluid and heating system inside the machine allows this to be done. The spouts are adjustable for height and width to accommodate different cups. Additionally, there is a spout for hot water that can be used for tea or iced coffee.

Another great feature of the Giga 6 is the ability to personalize and duplicate your favorite coffees. This is particularly useful if you enjoy the same beverage in the in the morning and evening. You can, for instance make flat whites using regular beans and a second using decaf. You can also modify the ingredients, for example, the type of milk or the amount of cocoa or sugar.

Both the Giga 6 and Z10 offer a wide range of options for customization. You can choose from 28 specialty drinks with a single touch. In addition, you can modify the strength of your coffee and choose between 10 different levels of milk foam.

The GIGA 6 and Z10 come with a 4.3 inch touchscreen display in full-colour and a rotary switch that makes it easy to navigate the various features of the machines. The GIGA 6 can be connected to your smartphone using WiFi. This will allow users to download a range of apps to customize your drinks at home. The only drawback to this machine is that some users have had issues with the drip tray leaked. If you encounter this issue then contact the customer support team immediately.

4. Nespresso Inissia

The Nespresso Inissia is a cost-effective and practical way for espresso and coffee enthusiasts to enjoy their favourite coffee drinks at home. Its high-pressure pump and patent-pending extraction system guarantees that each cup of coffee is rich, flavorful, and velvety smooth. The Inissia has a large capacity water tank that is quick to warm up, allowing you to brew multiple cups of coffee without having to refill it regularly.

The compact and sleek Inissia is among the most space-saving pod machines on the market, making it ideal for kitchens that have limited counter space. It is easy to operate and set up, requiring only minimal effort. When fully charged, the machine can make coffee in just 25 seconds. This is ideal for those looking to get a caffeine boost instantly.

Additionally, the Inissia offers a variety of premium coffee capsules to satisfy any taste, from intense and robust to mild and aromatic. The machine is energy efficient and shuts down after nine minutes when not used. It runs on low amounts of electricity. The machine's design is flexible, and includes a folding drip tray that can be used to hold taller glasses for recipes and an empty capsule container that can hold up to 11 empty capsules.

Place a capsule into the machine and then press one of the two buttons to begin the making process. The Espresso button will dispense an espresso shot while the Lungo button will run a larger amount of water for a lungo-style coffee. You can pause the brewing process or stop it at any point. If you require more water or less you can alter the volume of the coffee on the control panel.

Another advantage of the Inissia is its ease of cleaning. Every day, run a wash with water and capsules through the machine to eliminate any remaining residue. It is recommended to clean the machine every three months to remove any calcium or lime deposits. Click here to view our video on how to descale the machine.
